Your journey starts now—protect and innovate with MANTECH! MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Manager to join our team. This is a fully remote position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Engage with the Department of Defense (DoD) and Directed Energy Industry to identify workforce development gaps and strategies to enhance the Directed Energy workforce. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of Directed Energy programs. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Develop new business opportunities aligned with the Directed Energy group's core competencies in Directed Energy and Space Systems. Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution. Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions. Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives by setting the direction and allocating resources; works within division objectives. Communicates complex concepts, anticipates potential objections, and persuades senior executives to adopt a different point of view. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Engineering, or Business field required; an additional 4 years of related experience might be substituted for a degree 10+ years of experience within the DoD customer environment Experience as a program manager or principal investigator Experience with workforce and/or organizational development. Preferred Qualifications: Master of Business Administration (MBA) Clearance Requirements US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance Physical Requirements: You must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. This position also requires occasional movement within the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. You must be able to frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may include delivering presentations. The ability to exchange accurate information in these situations is essential. The projected compensation range for this position is $134,400.00-$239,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
