Product Engineer - Search and Metadata

We at Esri are looking for an experienced and motivated Product Engineer - Search and Metadata professional to join our team. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining search and metadata features across Esri’s product portfolio. You will be a key player in the product development process and will be expected to work closely with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of our products.To be successful in this role, you must have expertise in search and metadata technologies, such as natural language processing, machine learning, and related technologies. You should have a strong understanding of search algorithms, data structures, and software development best practices. You should also have the ability to think critically and analyze complex problems. A strong background in software engineering and development will be important for this role.You should be a creative and collaborative problem-solver who can work independently and in teams. You should have excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting with stakeholders from all areas of the business. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain search and metadata features across Esri’s product portfolio. Work closely with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery. Analyze complex search and metadata problems and develop creative solutions. Utilize natural language processing, machine learning, and other related technologies to optimize search and metadata features. Identify and evaluate data structures and search algorithms. Apply software development best practices. Work both independently and in teams when necessary. Communicate effectively with stakeholders from all areas of the business.
