We are currently seeking a DevSecOps Cloud Engineer to configure, monitor, and maintain the deployment of an enterprise-level web application into a DoD AWS based cloud environment. This position will be responsible for configuring and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline and ensuring the application builds and deploys thru the pipeline process and the docker containers are optimized for performance and cost. The automated pipeline consists of using GitHub to pull the application code into a CI/CD pipeline to build, test, and deploy to the docker containers. The candidate will be assisting in the migration of the application to a new DoD AWS based cloud environment. This will potentially include setting up, configuring, and securing new virtual servers (Windows/Linux/Unix) and integrating with available cloud provider CI/CD tools and applications. Responsibilities include: • Leading implementation of AWS DevSecOps tools and processes to create, maintain and innovate fully automated CI/CD pipelines. • Ensuring the implementation of monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment. • Participating in developing, implementing, and enforcing policies to enhance system security. • Building and configuring a high performing, scalable, cloud-based infrastructure. • Maintaining highly available applications in a production environment. • Working knowledge of token-based authentication technologies. Desired Experience: • Minimum 3 years’ experience performing DevSecOps and Cloud Operations in an AWS cloud environment. • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possess the ability to multi-task, and have strong acumen in the area of software development. • The candidate will possess strong experience in AWS cloud services such as Continuous Integration (CI), Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Delivery (CD) and DevSecOps. Desired Education: • BA/BS degree in information systems, computer science, or related field. 2 years of additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of each year of education. • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (CSA) certification or similar preferred. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
