Planning and Logistics Coordinator (Temporary)—part-time. 20+ hours a week. Possibility to go perm part-time or full-time. Fully remote. $25/hour. Mizuho OSI (maker of surgical tables) is seeking a highly articulate, well-organized, and proactive communicator to join our team as a Planning and Logistics Coordinator on a temporary, part-time basis. This job may eventually become a perm job either part-time or full-time. In this role, you will serve as the central control point for our demo surgical tables, scheduling and logistical activities, ensuring the smooth and precise execution of timelines. Your core responsibilities include maintaining and managing the team's master work calendar, coordinating closely with sales representatives to schedule necessary equipment and guarantee its timely arrival on site, and liaising directly with freight forwarders and internal departments to meticulously synchronize all transport and delivery movements. The ideal candidate excels in a dynamic environment and has the critical ability to coordinate multiple complex operational threads to meet stringent deadlines. Minimum Qualifications · At least 2 years of related experience in Coordination. · High school diploma or above. · Proficient in Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualifications · Experience using SAP Key Skills Exceptional Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage complex schedules, calendars, and logistics across multiple regions simultaneously. • Strong Communication: Highly articulate both verbally and in writing, with the ability to clearly convey complex scheduling requirements to internal teams, sales reps, and external vendors (freight forwarders). • Logistical Acumen: Experience or strong understanding of coordinating the movement of equipment, including managing lead times, and delivery specifications. • Detail Orientation: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in scheduling, site addresses, and required delivery times. • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts or logistical roadblocks quickly and efficiently. • Proficiency in Scheduling : Experience with calendar management systems and logistics tracking tools. • Stakeholder Management: Ability to professionally coordinate expectations and deadlines with Sales, Operations. Responsibilities The Planning and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for: • Calendar Management: Owning, maintaining, the master team work calendar to ensure all deliveries, and installations are accurately scheduled and tracked. • Equipment Scheduling: Working directly with sales representatives to confirm equipment needs and scheduling precise on-site delivery times to meet deadlines. • Freight and Forwarder Coordination: Facilitating and coordinating with freight forwarders, to arrange transport, secure necessary documentation, and track shipments until final delivery. • Internal Synchronization: Serving as the key communication bridge between the Sales team, Operations team, and external logistics partners to ensure all parties are aligned on timing and requirements. • Troubleshooting: Rapidly addressing and resolving all logistical issues, scheduling conflicts, or delivery delays that may arise. • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of all delivery schedules, tracking information, and logistical documentation for audit and reporting purposes. Work location: Remote. Hours: 9AM to 2PM Pacific time. Hourly rate: $25.00/hour.
