Key Responsibilities As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, your primary responsibilities will include: Accurately and efficiently entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers. Navigating through imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry. Differentiating between various claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines. Identifying specific document types that require special handling. Collaborating with other team members to ensure work is completed within designated turnaround times. Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements. Performing quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines. Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed. Alerting management to potential issues upon identification of discrepancies. Providing recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies. Essential Qualifications To be a successful candidate, you'll need to meet the following essential qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
