Online Professor of Criminal Investigation & Forensics (REMOTE)
Summary The School of Justice Mission at Missional University invites applications for an online faculty position in Criminal Investigation & Forensics teaching courses in investigation, interviewing, interrogation, crime scene management, and white collar/organized crime. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or related field with significant personal experience in some area of criminal investigation. Please identify your criminal investigation experience on your CV or resume. Applicants may teach online from anywhere on the globe and do not have to have US residency, but must be fluent in English and have a stable internet connection. Responsibilities and Duties The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate practical missions experience within their own country or beyond. Applicants must have a strong orientation to relating criminal justice courses to service in the mission of God. Teaching responsibilities include the development and delivery of criminal justice eLearning courses to equip Christian believers to serve in community and correctional justice-related positions in ministry and other faith-based and community organizations worldwide. The successful applicant will function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) working with an instructional technologist to design, develop and deploy his or her own courses. Online course development using current learning management systems and instructional design will begin immediately upon hire. Qualifications and Skills • Doctoral degree in Criminal Justice or a related field (Ph.D.) from an accredited university • Significant experience in criminal investigation • Some theological education is preferred • Teaching experience, preferably online • A vibrant Christian testimony • Practical missions experience in his/her own country of origin or beyond • Agreement with the faith and ethos statements of the Missional University • Passionate about the mission, vision and core values of the Missional University Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $10,000.00 - $64,014.60 per year Benefits: • Flexible schedule Education: • Doctorate (Required) Experience: • Teaching: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
