Non Profit Staff Accountant (Remote)

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Contract-to-Hire Staff Accountant for a mission-driven nonprofit organization. This role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates located in the DC Metro area. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Staff Accountant will support core accounting functions including accounts payable, general ledger activities, cash management, and journal entries. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling online donations, and supporting month-end and year-end close. The position offers exposure to cross-functional projects and opportunities to contribute to process improvements within a collaborative nonprofit environment.
