Medical Transcriptionist (NOT REMOTE)
About the position Responsibilities • Listen to recorded dictations from healthcare professionals • Transcribe medical reports, including patient histories, physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans • Ensure accuracy and completeness of transcriptions • Edit and proofread transcriptions for errors or inconsistencies • Maintain confidentiality of patient information • Follow established guidelines and formatting requirements • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear dictations Requirements • Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology • Strong knowledge of medical office procedures and documentation • Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy • Familiarity with transcription software and equipment • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely • Excellent listening and communication skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Nice-to-haves • Prior experience as a Medical Transcriptionist is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates the necessary skills and qualifications.
