POSITION OVERVIEW: Plans, organizes, directs, and controls all efforts related to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide IT systems and infrastructure. Provides strategic leadership across multiple IT domains including cloud services, cybersecurity, data governance, and digital transformation. Responsible for strategy execution and operational direction of a business function. Interacts with executive leadership on matters of significance. Manages multiple teams led by managers. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Recruit, mentor, develop, and evaluate a team of IT leadership and professionals. 2. Lead the strategic design, engineering, and enablement of cloud platforms to support scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise applications. 3. Drive the development and continuous improvement of DevSecOps capabilities, ensuring secure, automated, and efficient software delivery pipelines. 4. Champion developer experience by providing modern tools, training, and support that accelerate productivity and innovation. 5. Oversee the implementation and optimization of observability and performance monitoring solutions to ensure system health and proactive issue resolution. 6. Provide technical leadership and governance over middleware platforms to ensure reliable messaging and integration across distributed systems. 7. Curate and manage a comprehensive service catalog and self-service capabilities to empower teams and streamline infrastructure consumption. 8. Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices. 9. Develop automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) capabilities to drive scalability, consistency and speed. 10. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection standards. 11. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures. 12. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field • Eight (8) years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams and enterprise systems. • Strategic planning and execution in IT environments. • Expertise in Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure), Cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO), Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Middleware Platforms (kafka, RabbitMQ, WebSphere), and enterprise architecture. • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills. • Proven ability to lead digital transformation and change management initiatives. • Deep understanding of IT governance, compliance, and risk management.
