If this excites you, come and join our team.OSP Licensing & Permitting Manager directs day-to-day activities of OSP licensing and permitting Coordinator(s) regarding all facets of the licensing and permitting process. In addition, the Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely submittal of utility applications and payments. Provides additional support to OSP Engineers and Managers to ensure there are no barriers to application and licensing. The OSP Licensing & Permitting Manager will maintain all yearly pole attachment workflow and work with GIS staff to continually improve facility records. The Licensing Manager is responsible for maintaining Right-Of-Way permits and other various permits required for construction.LOCATION: Remote in MA or NJEssential Job Functions:Leads a world-class team of OSP Licensing professionals.Works closely with subcontractors on all relevant matters regarding licensing.Sets vision and direction for the OSP Licensing & Permitting team team.Hires, trains and develops staff.Onboards coordinators by creating training documents and process plans for quick on-boarding.Produces KPI and Production reports at required intervals.Manages utility joint use licensing process for fiber and conduit installations.Participates in the development of corporate-wide Joint Use processes.Directs utility coordination of the licensing process on projects.Assists in processing attachment applications.Serves as the final point of escalation for all Licensing issues.Represents GoNetspeed in professional and in-trade organizations.Assists with annual billing reconciliation, when required.Supports Pole Attachment Agreement establishment and renewals.Performs all other related duties as assigned*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of telecommunications construction and maintenance requirements and regulations.Knowledge of telecommunications equipment, networks and processes including fiber optics and copper networks.Knowledge of management principles and practices.Skill in operating various office equipment such as personal computers, various software programs, and telephone systems.Skill in oral and written communication.Skill in reading and interpreting technical documents and forms, including purchase orders, invoices, expense reports, time reports, material requisition forms, work orders, trouble tickets, and service orders.Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments.Ability to pay close attention to detail.Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand.Ability to create a team environment and sustain employee morale.Ability to support and defend management decisions.Ability to perform job duties, even if it means working beyond a 40-hour work week.Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent plus one to three years of specialized training.Prior experience in pole application/project management3-5 Years Of Telephone Plant Operations Experience Also Required.3+ years of supervisory experience preferred.GoNetspeed is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, sex, gender identity, color, race, creed, national origin, religious persuasion, marital status, political belief, or disability.Thank you for choosing GoNetspeed as your potential next employer!
