They are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant to provide administrative support to their team and assist with legal documentation. Responsibilities Provide administrative support to Law Clerks, Lawyers or other members of the team as needed Assist with preparing and formatting of legal documentation Support the filing of court documents and assist with tracking deadlines and key dates for the Law Clerks and Lawyers Maintain accurate and well-organized files, both electronic and hard copy, in accordance with firm procedures Schedule meetings, appointments, and internal deadlines, ensuring calendars are updated accurately Perform general administrative tasks including data entry, document management, and correspondence filing Support the team with other administrative related tasks as required Skills Experience in a legal assistant or administrative assistant role Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-focused demeanor High level of attention to detail when preparing, formatting, and reviewing documents Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal or document management software is an asset Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Benefits Extended health, dental and mental health benefits Flexible work arrangement Professional development support, including CPD reimbursement Company Overview Based in both the GTA & Ottawa, we're a forward thinking firm that has result-oriented family lawyers with a culture based on pro-activity, professional integrity and the utmost commitment to our clients.
