Lead Security Valuation Analyst - Hybrid

About the position Responsible for overseeing daily security valuation processes across multiple fund structures, ensuring accurate pricing, compliance with policies, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maintain valuation integrity and transparency. Responsibilities • Lead daily security valuation processes for mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and other investment vehicles. • Ensure compliance with valuation policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. • Oversee pricing vendor due diligence and evaluate pricing sources for accuracy and reliability. • Manage exception reporting and resolve pricing discrepancies in collaboration with portfolio managers and subadvisers. • Coordinate with fund accounting, audit, and compliance teams to support net asset value (NAV) calculations and financial reporting. • Identify and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency, reduce manual errors, and accelerate reporting. • Monitor market events and assess impact on security pricing and valuation methodologies. • Support fund launches, mergers, and other corporate actions from a valuation perspective. • Participate in valuation committee meetings and contribute to policy updates and governance. • Provide input on accounting treatment and financial reporting disclosure requirements for complex financial instruments, including over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives.
