What You Will Be Doing: • Support Sumsub’s public policy and government relations strategy across Latin America, with a focus on fintech, cryptocurrency, DeFi, and digital identity regulation. • Build and maintain relationships with regulators, government ministries, and Law enforcement to advocate for clear, fair, and innovation-friendly compliance frameworks. • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments across the region, identifying trends and providing actionable insights to global stakeholders • Collaborate with Sumsub’s Legal, Compliance, and Product teams to align policy advocacy with business goals and market-entry needs • Represent Sumsub in panels, roundtables, and conferences, articulating our thought leadership on compliance technology, digital trust, and risk management • Coordinate with Sumsub’s global government relations team to ensure regional alignment and knowledge sharing • Prepare policy briefings, speaking materials, and position papers to support internal and external communications. • About You: • 3–5 years of experience in public policy, government relations, or regulatory affairs. • Experience in fintech, gambling, crypto, or DeFi sectors strongly preferred. • Exposure to LATAM regulatory frameworks or global compliance environments is a plus. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English; Portuguese a plus. • Confident public speaker, able to represent Sumsub at panels and industry events. • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage effectively with policymakers and industry stakeholders. • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% across LATAM and internationally.
