Lockheed Martin is a leading aerospace and defense company, and they are seeking a Sustainment Engineer for their Advanced Development Program. This three-year rotational program offers opportunities in various Sustainment disciplines, aiming to develop future leaders in the field through hands-on experience and training.
Responsibilities
- Participate in 3 one-year rotations in RMS Global Sustainment disciplines such as Sustainment Operations, Information Systems & Innovation, Supply Chain Management & Depot Operations, Field Sustainment, Courseware & Training and Technical Publications
- Gain exposure to Program Integration skillsets, including Project Management, Proposal Management, Customer Interface, Earned Value, Subcontract Managements and Quality
- Complete a cross functional business capstone project by the 3rd year
- Engage in team leadership training, networking, mentorship, and volunteering
- Build a career path that leads to leadership responsibilities within the Sustainment domain
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in related engineering or business discipline with a strong interest in sustainment, operations management, supply chain management, logistics management, logistics and transportation, business management, general management, data analytics, logistics, sustainability and sustainment, computer science, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, logistics engineering, or engineering management
- Microsoft Office Proficient (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
- Basic understanding of Logistics and Sustainment
- Demonstrated analytical and leadership skills
- Direct involvement in process improvement initiatives
- Related work experience (co-op, internship or part/full-time employment)
- Must be a US Citizen
- This position will require government security clearance
- Candidate must be willing to relocate to any of the listed locations or other LM sites while on program
- Candidate must be willing to accommodate flexible work shifts depending on business needs
- Candidate must commit to the entirety of the three-year program
