Salary Range: The full pay range for this role is $75,300 to $125,500 annually, and the good faith estimated starting pay for this position upon hire is $80,320 to $105,420 annually. We generally base our salary decisions on factors including but not limited to, relevant work and leadership experience, education, demonstrated performance, internal equity, and in some cases, geographic location.
Responsible for conducting RFI/RFQ/RFP from start to finish, including creation, issuance, evaluation, through issuance of award recommendations and negotiation of contract terms/master parts agreements. Day-to-day vendor management within assigned commodity group of goods & services for our renewable energy generating assets while ensuring overall objectives, procurement strategies, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
• Develop and manage assigned RFI/RFQ/RFPs from start to finish, including creation, issuance, and facilitation of the entire process, through issuance of award recommendations and negotiation of contract terms/master service agreements.
• Manage and maintain contracts and outline agreements with vendors
• Oversee and coordinate market analysis and vendor sourcing activities within the assigned commodity group to ensure alignment with commercial strategy and objectives. Support the procurement plan by organizing sourcing events and staying informed about market trends.
• Supplier relationship management, which includes negotiation of pricing and commercial terms, delivery-to-want, issue resolution, quality assurance, and performance reviews.
• Own and manage the Procure-to-Pay process and surrounding functions for the assigned category, including vendor on-boarding and qualification.
• Participate and coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve team goals and objectives, drive continuous improvement, and accomplish cost reduction targets and objectives.
• Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or related discipline from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum of five years related experience in parts, material purchasing or Category Management, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or energy sectors.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, data analysis, cost reduction initiatives and demand forecasting.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP for inventory management, outline agreement creation, etc.
• Experience in managing large RFPs and leading vendor selection process.
• Experience in Renewable Energy desirable.
• Good contract knowledge and commercial negotiation skills with progressive experience.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities –
• Good influencing, communication, collaboration skills as well as Supplier Relationship Management.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Good project management, planning and organizing skills.
• Capacity to collaborate and maintain partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
• Result-oriented work approach with a good balance between attention to detail and time management.
• Good proficiency with MS Office Suite and the ability to use business systems software. Familiarity with SAP is essential and Ariba is desirable.
• Technical understanding of equipment and services in wind, solar, and battery storage is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
• Combination of sitting/standing for extended periods of time at a computer typing and using a mouse.
Working Conditions:
90% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. 10% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors’ and/or internal customers’ sites in additional to attending various conferences and meetings.
