About the position Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure, OCI, and GCP using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform. • Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of cloud resources to support cost efficiency and operational excellence. • Understand FinOps principles, cost allocation, tagging strategies, and cloud financial governance. • Implement cost controls, budget alerts, and optimization strategies. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to integrate cost optimization checks and governance controls. • Implement cloud-native solutions to monitor performance, usage, and cost metrics in real time. • Build custom automation tools and scripts (Python, SQL) to collect, analyze, and visualize cloud financial and operational data. • Create and manage real-time dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, APIs, and Cloudability. • Enforce tagging standards, budget alerts, and cost allocation models to improve cost transparency and accountability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Finance, Operations) to align cloud usage with business and financial goals. • Identify and implement cloud cost optimization strategies, including rightsizing, reserved instances, and workload scheduling. • Ensure compliance with internal governance policies and industry-leading FinOps frameworks. • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, FinOps practices, and engineering trends to continuously improve cloud cost management capabilities. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field and/or equivalent. • Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams. • Strategic mindset with financial acumen and attention to detail. • Knowledge of software and engineering principles. • Strong basic management, human relations, and communication skills.
