About the position Responsibilities • Provide leadership and technical assistance to the Nurse Aide training program. • Approve training curriculum for nurse assistants. • Determine applicant eligibility for examinations. • Complete on-site reviews of training programs. • Collaborate with health occupations teacher educators and other bureaus. • Assist with reports and state or federal plans. • Participate in professional development activities. • Ensure compliance with set regulations for career and technical education. Requirements • Four years of professional career and technical education experience in health occupations, including one year of experience developing and implementing specialized curricula or programs. • An equivalent combination of professional experience and training in career and technical education, including one year of experience developing and implementing specialized curricula or programs. • A minimum of two years of full-time professional career and technical education health occupations experience in a 9-12 or postsecondary environment.
