Senior UX Designer (Contract, Remote – U.S.)

We’re seeking experienced UX professionals who integrate seamlessly, lead with confidence, and elevate the quality and outcomes we deliver for our clients. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end UX design strategy and execution across web and mobile products. • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (eg. Product Managers, Engineers). • Translate user research, analytics, and business requirements into user journeys, experience maps, interaction models, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI designs. • Create interactive prototypes in Figma or AI tools to validate concepts and accelerate stakeholder alignment. • Contribute to and evolve design systems to ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility across digital products. • Facilitate design discussions and clearly articulate design rationale to executive and cross-functional stakeholders. • Perform UX Research activities (eg. stakeholder/user interviews, surveys, usability testing, journey mapping) including planning, executing, and synthesizing feedback and data. • Prepare designs with annotations for engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation and design fidelity. • Balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility to deliver impactful, intuitive experiences. • Contribute to a culture of design excellence, continuous improvement, and collaboration. Qualifications • 5–8+ years of professional experience as a UX Designer, Senior UX Designer, or Product Designer designing complex digital products. • Proven expertise in user experience research, user-centered design (UCD), interaction design, information architecture, and usability best practices. • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX process, from research insights to shipped product outcomes. • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including prototyping and working within design systems. • Knowledge and use of AI tools to enhance workflows are a plus. • Experience designing for web and/or mobile applications in agile or lean product environments. • Ability to translate research and data into actionable design decisions. • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and align cross-functional teams. • Experience working remotely with distributed teams. • Agency, consultancy, or embedded client experience preferred. Requirements: • Approximately 40 hours/week contract engagement (independent contractor or freelancer) depending on the opportunity. • Fully remote (U.S.-based candidates only). • Seattle-based candidates are a plus. • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
