Why we’re looking for you We’re looking for a user-obsessed Senior Software Engineer to help craft the guest ordering experience that drives a critical stream of revenue for our restaurant partners. You’ll play a key role in building beautiful, performant, and intuitive user interfaces that serve millions of diners each month. This is a high-impact role with visibility across the company. You’ll focus on elevating the quality of the guest experience — from core flows like menus and checkout to the polish and delight that make great products feel magical. Our ideal candidate combines strong execution with a passion for detail — someone who loves turning great designs into fast, seamless, joyful user experiences. Our Stack Frontend : React, Next.js , TypeScript, Tailwind Backend : Node.js , MongoDB, PostgreSQL Observability : Datadog Tooling : GitHub, Vercel, Statsig The Impact You Will Have Build and refine guest ordering flows (menu, checkout, promos, etc.) Own UI polish: transitions, animations, interaction details Help establish component patterns and maintain UI quality Collaborate across product, design, and backend to ship high-impact features Optimize for performance, accessibility, and real-user experience Contribute to A/B tests and experimentation strategies ✅ What We're Looking For 4–6+ years of experience building frontends with React and TypeScript Deep knowledge of CSS, layout systems, and Tailwind (or similar) Proven track record of shipping high-quality, user-friendly UIs Strong collaborator with product and design teams Solid understanding of performance tuning and web vitals Comfort integrating with backend APIs Bonus: experience with A/B testing tools and growth-focused development Pay and Benefits The estimated starting base salary range for this role is $170K-200K depending on level, location and experience, plus a generous pre-IPO equity package Other benefits include comprehensive health coverage, work from anywhere (remote-first workplace), unlimited PTO - plus extra fun perks!
