We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead Information Security Engineer specializing in MTIPS policy and design, to join the Public Sector Security Architecture and Engineering team. Requirements Proven experience implementing modern security systems using industry-leading technologies in both lab and production environments. Skilled in developing architecture certifications, low-level design documents, configuration templates, and implementation guides. Hands-on deployment of production systems and training of operations teams. Expertise in customer-facing security services including Access control, firewalls/UTM, WAF, web filtering, IDS/IPS, VPN (IPSec/SSL), AV/AS, email/messaging security, DDoS protection, flow analysis, and application monitoring. Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls. Proficient with Cisco security platforms (Firepower, AnyConnect, ASA) and network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Arista). Familiar with integrated network, data center, virtualization, and cloud architectures. U.S. Citizenship required; must be eligible for government security clearance. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA. Knowledge of FISMA, DCID, NIST, FedRAMP, CISA, and GSA compliance frameworks. Experience with Managed Security Services (e.g., log management, vulnerability scanning, email security, key/cert management). Proficiency with data center platforms (edge/core devices, switches, load balancers). Background in software development and automation (testing, troubleshooting, provisioning). Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, and orchestration tools. Experience with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
