Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Independent AI Engineer (No Agencies) to help us design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents. Our stack is centered on Google Cloud Vertex AI and Anthropic’s Claude (Sonnet/Opus).
We aren't looking for a basic chatbot setup; we need "agentic" systems capable of multi-step reasoning, tool-use (function calling), and integration with our existing data pipelines.
Requirements:
Location: Must be based in the USA for time-zone alignment and seamless communication.
Communication: Must be available for regular video/audio calls during US business hours.
Expertise: * Proven experience with Vertex AI (Agent Builder, Model Garden).
Deep understanding of Claude 3.5/3.7 capabilities and prompt engineering.
Experience with agent frameworks like LangGraph, PydanticAI, or CrewAI.
Proficiency in Python and integrating REST APIs.
Strictly No Agencies: We want to work directly with the person writing the code.
Responsibilities:
Architect multi-agent systems that can plan and execute complex tasks.
Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) using Vertex AI Search and Conversation.
Develop and test custom "tools" for the agents to interact with our software stack.
Optimize token usage and latency for production-grade performance.
