What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and analyze clinical research protocols, sponsor agreements, and informed consent forms
- Create coverage analyses in accordance with Medicare's Clinical Trial Policy
- Collaborate with Principal Investigators and study teams on billing designations and feasibility assessments
- Assist in the development and accuracy of study budgets
- Serve as a liaison with the billing office to resolve complex research billing issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or five (5) years with an Associate's degree
- Knowledge of Medicare benefit policies and clinical research billing processes
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in healthcare billing or clinical research
- Familiarity with CPT coding and coverage determinations
- Previous work in a research or academic healthcare environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
