[Remote] UX Researcher II

The role involves planning and executing evaluative research studies, synthesizing findings into actionable insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform product decisions. Responsibilities - Plan and execute evaluative research studies, including usability tests, surveys, and interviews, selecting appropriate methods for each goal with light oversight - Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights that connect directly to product decisions, design iteration, and roadmap trade-offs - Partner with designers and product managers to define research questions, frame study goals, and ensure findings reach the right people at the right time - Collaborate on defining user segments and recruitment criteria to ensure studies reflect the people we build for - Deliver research readouts and documentation that are clear, accessible, and reusable by cross-functional teams - Contribute to research libraries, documentation templates, and operational processes that improve how the team delivers at scale - Build proficiency across research tools such as Great Question and User Interviews to support efficient study execution and synthesis Skills - 1–3 years of applied UX research experience in a product organization, including hands-on execution of evaluative studies such as usability tests, surveys, or interviews - Demonstrated ability to synthesize research findings into clear documentation tied to product decisions - Experience collaborating with designers and product managers to frame research goals and deliver findings that inform design or roadmap work - Experience selecting and applying research methods appropriate to study goals with limited oversight - Develop UX artifacts including personas, user journeys, and mental models that bring user understanding to life for teams across the organization - Portfolio or work samples showing research execution, synthesis, and the connection between findings and product outcomes - Bachelor's degree in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience - Experience working effectively in a fully remote environment - You embody our values: 'Curious by Default', 'Build Together', 'Own It', and 'Lead with Guts and Heart', and our behaviors: Clarity, Care and Candor - You care deeply about fostering an environment where people of all backgrounds and experiences can flourish - Experience researching developer, data scientist, or technical practitioner audiences in an open-source or AI-oriented product company, you don't need to code, but familiarity with technical workflows is a strong advantage - Early exposure to quantitative methods or behavioral data analysis, including comfort working with usage data or analytics tools to complement qualitative findings - Experience contributing to research operations, including documentation templates, recruitment processes, or research libraries that improved team efficiency - Experience presenting research findings to cross-functional stakeholders, advocating for users in rooms where they are underrepresented Benefits - Flexible Vacation Policy - Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Short Term and Long Term Disability - Paid Parental Leave - Monthly Wellness Stipend - Employee Assistance Program and Mental Health Resources Company Overview - Anaconda, the leader in advancing AI innovation, is the trusted foundation for AI-native development that empowers builders and enterprises to secure, orchestrate, and accelerate data and AI at scale.
