[Remote] Quality Management - Test Architect

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kforce Inc is seeking a Quality Management - Test Architect who will define and maintain enterprise-level test strategies and quality standards. The role involves overseeing test executions, ensuring quality across teams, and participating in Agile/Scrum processes while collaborating on automation strategies. Responsibilities • Define, own, and maintain enterprise-level test strategies, test plans, and quality standards across all phases of delivery • Design and review test cases and execution approaches covering functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing • Provide formal testing sign-off and quality assessments for releases and major milestones • Continuously evaluate and improve test coverage, effectiveness, and quality metrics • Oversee and track multiple concurrent test executions, ensuring accurate reporting of progress, defects, risks, and outcomes • Synthesize testing results into clear, actionable insights for project and leadership teams • Ensure consistency and quality across onshore and offshore QA teams, addressing execution gaps and process inefficiencies • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing quality perspectives to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives • Collaborate with engineering and automation teams on automation strategy, estimation, and execution planning • Guide teams on balancing manual and automated testing approaches to optimize speed and reliability Skills • Must have 7+ years of experience in Data engineering testing • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated QA experience in a QA manager or QA lead role • Significant experience in Data engineering or data product related testing • Proficient in Python, Java, Selenium, Azure DevOps, and GitHub • Must have leading and managing experience in all QA activities: data engineering, manual testing, test automation, performance testing • Strong experience in managing test projects and resources • Team lead experience with offshore - onshore model • Experience extending and building offshore - onshore model • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and come up with solutions to meet project needs • Practical coding experience with automated web testing tools, services, and physical devices or any programming languages • Experience in Automation architecture development and/or maintenance • Excellent communication skills and experience working closely with development and business teams to understand business requirements and work on testing strategies, communicate impacts, own release sign offs; Previous client facing experience is an advantage • Strong knowledge on how to run defect triaging, communicate updates, and impacts Benefits • Medical/dental/vision insurance • HSA • FSA • 401(k) • Life, disability & ADD insurance • Paid time off • Paid sick leave Company Overview • Kforce is a solutions firm specializing in technology, finance and accounting, and professional staffing services.
