They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented International Tax Associate to contribute to planning and compliance matters involving U.S. inbound and outbound tax issues. Responsibilities • Conduct legal and technical research and prepare written analysis on a wide range of international tax matters, including: • Controlled Foreign Corporations (CFCs) • Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, and BEAT provisions • Foreign tax credits and treaty interpretation • Pre-immigration planning, expatriation, and residency issues • Reporting of foreign gifts, inheritances, and ownership interests • IRS streamlined procedures and offshore voluntary disclosures • Assist in structuring cross-border investments and transactions for U.S. and foreign clients • Draft technical memoranda, client alerts, and advisory opinions • Support the development of client-facing materials and presentations • Collaborate with team members on planning and compliance strategies • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of U.S. international tax law and regulatory developments Skills • J.D. required • 3+ years of experience in international tax law, ideally in a law firm, Big 4, or boutique advisory setting • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills • Familiarity with key international tax provisions (e.g., Subpart F, GILTI, foreign tax credit) • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Demonstrated interest in cross-border tax issues and international planning • LL.M. in Taxation Company Overview • Frost Law provides an array of legal solutions on tax controversy, business litigation, estate planning, and bankruptcy.
