Job Summary: We're looking for a talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, including cloud-based server infrastructure, application scaling, and middleware. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT operations, cloud technologies, and DevOps, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure, including cloud-based server infrastructure, application scaling, and middleware Provide expert knowledge of concepts related to server load balancing, WAS clustering, and application scaling Investigate and resolve middleware issues across development, testing, and production environments Proactively monitor local and remote data center operations and equipment, including UPSs, air conditioning, power, office security systems, and all data center processes and procedures Foster a culture of sharing and collaboration among the team, and provide guidance to junior engineers as needed Stay up-to-date with systems technology best practices and evolving technologies, to maintain area expertise and recommend improvements or changes Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training 3+ years of experience as a network or system administrator or engineer Strong knowledge of IT business operations, systems requirements, and processes Proficiency in cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and IBM Cloud Experience with DevOps tools, including CI/CD, GitHub, Artifactory, and Jenkins Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement solutions What We Offer: Competitive salary: $30-$40/hour Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits 401(k) program with company contributions Opportunities for career growth and professional development Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options Access to exclusive employee discounts and perks, including travel benefits Diversity and Inclusion: At American Airlines, we're committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, where everyone feels valued and respected.
