Responsibilities
- Help develop, lead, and implement strategy to achieve business priorities
- Monitor, understand, and interpret key operational and financial metrics to help figure out strategy and action plans
- Develop and apply understanding of levers that move business
- Identify root cause of risks and opportunities, propose multiple, practical solutions, and weigh tradeoffs to recommend best approach
- Implement, optimize, and scale core analyses and processes, regularly reviewing performance
- Search for features or improvements to improve experience and efficiency of marketplace, measure impact, and collaborate with Product teams to implement launches
- Maintain productive working relationships with immediate team and cross-functional partners across operations, marketing, customer support, product, policy, and legal to scope, test, and implement initiatives
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field
- One year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
- Modeling and data visualization using Excel
- Business data analysis
- Using data to inform business decisions
- Statistical language and tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Strata
- Project management
- Building data-driven slide decks using Google Slides or PowerPoint
