Overview
• Our client, a prominent American travel technology company, is seeking a Paralegal with exceptional project management and operational expertise.
• This role is ideal for someone who combines paralegal expertise with a passion for operational excellence, process design, and legal technology.
• This is not a traditional legal support position, you will play a key role in shaping how the legal team operates by improving workflows, streamlining processes, and driving strategic initiatives.
Role Summary
The Legal Operations Manager will support attorneys and business partners while enhancing the overall efficiency of the legal function. You will help build scalable processes, implement automation, optimize systems, and ensure cross‑departmental projects stay on track.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide traditional paralegal support to the legal team
• Lead and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives
• Optimize and maintain the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform
• Coordinate with legal, operations, and business stakeholders to move projects forward
• Track project timelines, deliverables, and progress
• Design, document, and implement efficient, scalable workflows
• Leverage data, reporting, and analytics to improve legal operations and team performance
Required Qualifications
• Proven paralegal experience
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Advanced Excel capabilities (analysis, reporting, tracking)
• Experience contributing to automation or process‑improvement efforts
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting or implementing CLM systems
• Familiarity with AI or automation tools used within legal operations
Tools & Systems
Experience with tools such as:
• Ironclad
• Tableau
Location
• Preference for candidates based in NYC; however, those located close enough to travel to the office on an occasional basis will also be considered.
