Salary/Position Classification $12.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) 10-20 hours per week 100% Remote Work Availability: No Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No Purpose of Position This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. Work behind the scenes at the Chester Fritz Library! Flexible scheduling.... no nights or weekend hours required so you can have them free for other activities! Duties & Responsibilities Performing records management (creating and updating information) on the library's system and excel spreadsheets Creating and affixing spine labels, attaching property information to materials Searching for electronic journals Locating and pulling materials from the shelves Shelving materials Assorted other tasks to prepare materials for use Minimum Requirements Must have accepted a Federal Work Study award for the applicable term Ability to type accurately Attention to detail a must Ability to push/move heavy book trucks and lift heavy books Knowledge of excel spreadsheets Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preference given to Freshmen and Sophomores (Opportunity to work for multiple years) Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
