As a Junior Engineering Technician, you'll be part of an integral part of a team of dedicated professionals collaborating to support programs and partners throughout the region. Responsibilities will include assisting Engineers in a variety of non-professional engineering work, including installing stream gages, collecting stream stage, flow, temperature, and data at multiple stream gages; and using Acoustic Doppler Meters and other measurement devices to perform flow measurements on fast moving water. The incumbent must be able to swim, drive on and off road, and travel on short notice and stay overnight, for several consecutive days, at field locations.
