As an IT Support Specialist at Averro, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving technical issues, and managing IT systems and infrastructure. Job Summary: We're looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team, providing level 1 support for all IT-related inquiries and managing local IT tasks at our physical site. The ideal candidate will have medium-level IT support skills, a desire to learn, and a strong customer service focus. Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for IT issues, collaborating with national IT team members to resolve tickets efficiently Maintain the IT ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and updates for internal customers Provide hands-on IT assistance, training, and support for staff on computer systems, security, and software Manage non-enterprise systems, such as badge or camera systems, and provide local IT support Collaborate with external IT network providers to identify and resolve network and infrastructure issues Escalate tickets and calls as needed, retaining ownership throughout the escalation process Supervise and assist team members with issues in multiple offices, ensuring seamless IT support Maintain confidentiality of company information, IT passwords, and other crucial IT data Requirements: High school graduate or GED equivalency, with at least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration BS in a related field with 3 years of experience (acceptable alternative) Well-developed customer service skills, with a proven track record of excellent communication and problem-solving Medium to expert knowledge of desktop hardware and operating systems (Windows 10) Experience with ticket logging systems, Microsoft (Office) 365, and other desktop software Basic systems management experience with Microsoft 365 and other common IT platforms Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues, working with remote users through phone and software Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of server administration, Clinical Research software, and phone systems administration Understanding of network infrastructure, switches, firewalls, and other hardware or software Experience with Clinical platforms and system administration Why Averro?
