Job Description: Join the Netflix team as a Data Engineer and play a key role in shaping the future of gaming on our platform. As a member of the Game Data Science and Engineering team, you will work closely with game studio stakeholders to develop and implement data pipelines, metrics, and tools to drive business decisions and improve the overall gaming experience. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing structured and unstructured data Collaborate with game studio leads to develop cutting-edge game metrics and partner with internal game studios to bring relevant metrics and game data into the Netflix ecosystem Work with the Netflix SDK team and third-party gaming partners to integrate data through the Netflix Games SDK Join a diverse team of data engineers and work closely with analytical engineering and data science counterparts Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 2+ years of software/data engineering experience with proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or Scala) Strong knowledge of advanced SQL and experience with big data technologies (Hive, Presto, Spark, Flink) Conceptual knowledge of AWS cloud resources (S3, EC2, RDS, etc.) Excellent communication and collaboration skills About Netflix: Netflix is a leading online streaming service that offers a wide range of movies, TV shows, documentaries, and original content to over 200 million paid members in over 190 countries.
