Illustrator for Color Graphic Novel

APPLY NOW
I'm looking for an illustrator for a color graphic novel that I'm still writing but expect to finish in the next few months. Probably approx. 100 pages, maybe 600 illustrations. The idea is that characters in our real world interact with famous paintings. I've done a few pages of it with AI. I'm attaching a basic idea: https://docs.google.com/document/d/17eYrB8LriO9E0Ksd3QTj6Hc_N5ISYiluYo6QGzbG59Y/edit?tab=t.0 I don't want to do the whole thing with AI, I'd rather hire a human being -- if I can afford it -- because I want to support creative professionals. So this is my attempt to get a realistic quote. If you use AI as part of your process I would want to know more about it, since my goal here is to not do that. But if you use it in limited ways we can talk about it. I'm attaching a link of what I have in mind. Clearly the process would have to be collaborative and iterative since the artist has to understand what I want, but I'm not endlessly picky. I did another project with AI just for friends and family and one of the hardest things is continuity. So that would be important -- maintaining the looks and details of characters. I don't require graphic design or layout, I can do that part, including speech balloons, using Canva.
