[JOB OPPORTUNITY] Hardware Engineers – Automotive Battery Systems Location: Remote (EU-based) Preferred Start Date: August 2025 ⏳ Initial contract: 6 months (with extension potential) As RSB Automotive Consulting , we are supporting one of our clients in the search for two experienced Hardware Engineers for a cutting-edge project involving MCU and ASIC integration for battery management systems (BMS) in the automotive domain. What you’ll work on: Hardware-level integration of Renesas RH850 MCUs and ASICs for battery/BMS applications PCB design and layout for complex systems with multiple MCUs and communication interfaces (CAN, I2C, UART, SPI) Power integrity analysis and simulation using LTspice / PSpice High-voltage and low-voltage isolation design (digital isolators, DC/DC converters) Compliance with HV safety principles, including clearance and creepage standards Thermal and EMC design considerations Preparation of manufacturing documentation for PCBA Contributing to functional safety activities (basic knowledge of ISO 26262 or EN 61508 appreciated) Must-have skills: Proven experience in automotive hardware development Strong knowledge of Altium Designer Familiarity with Texas Instruments BQ series (6+) and Analog Devices Gen 5+ solutions Experience working with Vector tools / CANoe Understanding of HV/LV system design and isolation techniques Ability to perform power and thermal simulations, EMC design Fluency in English (project language) If you meet the above criteria, we’d love to hear from you!
