Overview Location: Full remote. Schedule: Full time Job Purpose As a FullStack Developer, you’ll play a foundational role in building our partner’s first product: an online portal tailored to government needs that helps automate mission-critical processes. You will be involved in the design and development of end-to-end features, leveraging both backend and frontend technologies, and working closely with infrastructure components to ensure performance and scalability. Responsibilities Design and implement secure login workflows for both vendors and government staff. Build and maintain role-based access control and workflow automation features. Create database structures and integrations to manage vendor data and document history. Develop document upload systems that support validation and AI-powered classification. Work within a Django + Vue architecture, keeping frontend and backend cleanly decoupled. Optimize and maintain infrastructure using AWS services (CloudFront, S3, RDS/PostgreSQL, EC2) and integrate with Cloudflare for performance and security. Evaluate and integrate third-party APIs (e.g., Twilio, Process Plan) or suggest custom-built alternatives. Contribute to the setup and evolution of CI/CD pipelines, development tools, and testing strategies. Write clean, maintainable code using Python (Django) and Vue.js, with Node.js used only for frontend build processes. Apply best practices in AI-assisted code generation and RPA integration. Collaborate closely with the founding team on technical decisions and roadmap planning. Help lay the foundation for future machine learning integrations and product scalability. Experience & Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer building secure, scalable web applications. Strong proficiency in frontend development using modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably Vue.js; React experience is a plus if open to working with Vue). Hands-on experience with Python and Django on the backend. Familiarity with API development using FastAPI (Python) or Express (Node.js). Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS services like CloudFront, S3, RDS (PostgreSQL or similar), EC2, and ideally Cognito. Comfortable working with Cloudflare for performance and security enhancements. Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Docker, and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies. Experience working on enterprise software, vendor portals, or workflow-based systems. Proactive, adaptable mindset with a continuous learning attitude. Ability to thrive in environments where you build from scratch, contribute to architecture, and iterate fast. Fluent in English (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across teams. Nice-to-Have Skills Familiarity with tools like VS Code, Windsurf, or DataGrip. Experience integrating third-party APIs such as Twilio or Process Plan. Interest or prior experience in AI, RPA systems, and automation tools.
