This is a remote position. Position: Japanese-Speaking MERN Stack Developer Location: Remote (Japan Timezone Preferred) Type: Full-Time / Contract Experience Level: Mid to Senior Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). Collaborate with the product and design teams to build high-quality user interfaces and APIs. Participate in agile sprints, contribute to planning, code reviews, and testing. Integrate and optimize AI tools and APIs to improve workflows and product functionality. Communicate effectively with both Japanese and English-speaking team members. Requirements: Proficiency in Japanese (written, spoken, and listening)/ JNLPT2. Solid experience with the MERN stack. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Experience working in remote and cross-cultural teams. Strong understanding of Git and development best practices. Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, automation scripts) for productivity and efficiency. Nice to Have: Exposure to AI/ML projects or experience integrating AI APIs. Knowledge of LLM agentic frameworks , RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) , LangChain , or similar architectures. Familiarity with Python , especially FastAPI for backend or service integration.
