Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough investigations to determine the cause of electrical system failures, analyzing data, and evaluating construction quality, design, and maintenance procedures. Perform field investigations, lead multi-party examinations, and document damaged property to provide accurate and comprehensive reports. Research failure modes, code requirements, and provide expert recommendations for repair and/or replacement as needed. Prepare clear, concise, and thorough reports for clients, detailing opinions and conclusions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex assignments, maintaining established relationships with clients and consultants. Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and practices, participating in ongoing training and development to ensure knowledge and skills remain current and comprehensive. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with over 5 years of experience in evaluating electrical system and component failures in a commercial or industrial setting. Active Professional Engineering (PE) license in the resident state. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and computer skills (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). A desire to learn, excel, and grow with our team and within the profession. Preferred Qualifications: Expert witness testimony experience. Multi-state PE licensing and/or active NCEES Record.
