Clarest Health is dedicated to providing personalized care for healthcare institutions, ensuring high standards of service. They are seeking a Financial Analyst to leverage analytical expertise in forecasting, reporting, modeling, and strategic financial initiatives to enhance pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, performance drivers, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare monthly performance reporting packages, including P&L results, dashboards, variance analysis, and executive insights
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning by reconciling results and recommending corrective actions
- Build and enhance financial models and maintain automated reporting tools using Excel (Power Query/Power Pivot), SQL, and Power BI
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and data models to ensure accurate and consistent reporting across the organization
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Strategic Sourcing, and Pharmacy teams on pricing models, margin analysis, vendor programs, and profitability
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, automate workflows, and strengthen data reliability
- Maintain customer performance reporting, support financial monitoring, assist with inventory reconciliation, and contribute to key projects as assigned
- Must adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent and 1-3 years of financial/business experience required
- Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to effectively organize large data files required
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the capability to interpret data and identify meaningful insights
- Clear and effective communication skills for presenting information to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships across teams in a cross‑functional environment
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in analysis, reporting, and documentation
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
- Adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset to enhance processes, efficiency, and data quality
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
- Knowledge of a broad range of other technologies (e.g. SQL, Power BI/Tableau, NetSuite, claims/ERP data experience, Python.)
