As an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you'll play a vital role in achieving this goal by modeling and delivering outstanding customer service, assisting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, and contributing to the smooth operation of our pharmacy department. **Job Summary:** We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our arenaflex team as an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assisting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, and contributing to the smooth operation of our pharmacy department. You'll engage with customers and patients, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. You'll also model and share customer service best practices with your colleagues to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Customer Experience:** + Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. + Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. + Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. * **Operations:** + Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. + Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items. + Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested. + Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. + Take customers to the OTC aisle when possible to assist in locating products. + Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. + Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or communicated by the shift leader. * **Pharmacy Support:** + Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow. + Utilize pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly. + Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs. + Verify medicine is correct and check for possible interactions. + Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to arenaflex policies and procedures. + Review and comply with the arenaflex Pharmacy Code of Conduct. * **Additional Responsibilities:** + Handle telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist. + Process manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner. + Perform other clerical duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager. + Assist and support the Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. + Maintain knowledge of arenaflex asset protection techniques and file claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs. + Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). + Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. + Complete resets and revisions as directed. + Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures. + Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine. + Assume web pick-up responsibilities and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store. + Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance. **Essential Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent required;
