* Validate system-generated data and ensure timely and precise entry of UB (Uniform Billing) or itemization (IB) charges into our database, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Employ proprietary OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software to implement necessary data corrections or amendments, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
* Cross-reference patient and provider information, along with general UB details, ensuring accuracy upon file receipt and prior to data entry, maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive patient information.
* Input breakdown charges (itemization) into our system as required, ensuring that all relevant details are recorded correctly and accurately.
* Uphold daily production volume expectations and quality control protocols, maintaining the highest level of productivity and accuracy.
* Maintain strict HIPAA compliance during all communications and data handling, ensuring that all sensitive patient information is protected and confidential.
* Assist team members by providing support, including onboarding and training new employees as needed, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
* Undertake additional tasks as directed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
**Required Skills**
* Proficiency in typing at a speed of 40+ words per minute, with strong accuracy in both Alpha and 10-Key (8,000 keystrokes per hour with 90%+ accuracy), ensuring efficient and accurate data entry.
* Exceptional attention to detail and independent problem-solving abilities, identifying and correcting errors or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
