Job Summary As a Data Scientist, Analytics and Insights with Amazon's Information Stage - Experiences group, you'll play a critical role in shaping how success is measured across our organization. You'll work closely with various teams, including Stages and Services, to provide data analysis and support that informs strategic decisions. Your primary focus will be on defining what questions should be asked, scaling analysis methods and tools, and supporting the vision for business intelligence, solutions engineering, and tactical execution. Key Responsibilities Work with individuals from Stages and Services to direct them towards better decision-making from available data. Advance data and insights through managing communications with partners and other teams, collaborating with associates to complete data projects, and ensuring all parties can utilize insights to move forward. Maintain a client-driven focus while being a space and product expert through data, fostering trust among peers, and ensuring that teams and projects have access to data to make informed decisions. Oversee equivocal issues and adjust tools to address muddled questions. Identify trade-offs among speed and quality of various approaches. Create scientific systems to measure team success by cooperating with teams to establish progress metrics, create ways to track data, and investigate errors. Operationalize data processes to furnish partners with impromptu analysis, automated dashboards, and self-service reporting tools. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in a customer web business, or in a high-speed, high-growth product or team. Expert SQL skills and proficiency in Python/R. Experience using data to create insights and drive business results. Familiarity with data analysis and communication around data, including time series analysis, experimentation, data visualization, and defining KPI strategies. Excellent collaborative skills with the ability to maintain relationships. Preferred Qualifications Energy and passion for web-based networks, games, and Twitch. Experience in Functional Greatness , defining metrics and analysis reporting. Experience working with programming development and functional event data. Familiarity with AI techniques , such as logistic regression, decision trees, and neural networks.
