**Job Summary**
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Entry Typist Operator to join our team. As a Data Entry Typist Operator, you'll be responsible for accurately typing company documents and material, managing files, and providing administrative support. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Typist Operator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Transferring data from paper formats into digital files or database systems
* Transcribing documents from dictated tapes
* Taking notes at meetings with managers and others to create detailed texts
* Editing completed work for grammar, spelling, and punctuation
* Gathering and organizing typing material
* Creating spreadsheets and presentations, combining various data from existing files
* Maintaining physical and digital filing systems
* Scanning and printing files, as needed
* Keeping information confidential in accordance with security policies
**Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Proven work experience as a Typist, Data Entry Clerk, or Data Entry operator
* Fast typing skills; using a touch typing system is a plus
* Experience using data recorders and optical scanners
* Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets
* Familiarity with office equipment
* Strong English language skills
* Attention to detail with an ability to spot grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
* Confidentiality
* High school diploma; additional computer training or certification is a plus
