As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless travel experience. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide friendly and professional support to customers via phone, email, and chat * Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and efficient manner * Process transactions, handle cash, checks, credit cards, and travel vouchers * Manage overages or shortages, and balance daily transactions * Review and process baggage and freight claims * Answer phone calls to provide information, page customers, resolve issues, or assist with other requests * Manage exchanges to load the aircraft in an efficient and productive manner * Manage misused customers due to oversells, delayed or cancelled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage * Provide current and accurate information on charges, schedules, reservations, flight departures/arrivals, and other general requests from customers and other airport guests * Complete forms and reports as required by the organization * Write incident and complaint reports as needed **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job * Ability to understand records, follow directions, learn and comprehend tagging strategies, rules, and guidelines * Ability to work with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances * Ability to complete the Customer Service Specialist training program with an 80% or higher average and assessment period * Knowledge of hazardous situations and ability to handle crises as needed * Ability to work under close time deadlines to achieve quick turns of aircraft * Ability to give a well-groomed appearance in understanding the Ground Service Representative Handbook and Work Schedule * Ability to perform all job duties within a limited space * Ability to convey verbally by phone, face-to-face, and on public address systems accurately * Excellent written and oral communication skills **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment * Experience working in a call center or remote customer support role * Knowledge of aviation industry practices and procedures * Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities * Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
