As a Patient Care Advocate at arenaflex, you'll be on the front lines with patients, responding to phone inquiries and addressing each with care, detail, and empathy. You'll be the voice of arenaflex, providing expert guidance and support to patients navigating their pharmacy benefits. Your exceptional listening skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of medical terminology will enable you to empathetically address patient concerns and provide the best advice.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Help patients understand their pharmacy benefits better by utilizing your knowledge gained from training, problem-solving skills, and support from your team to answer patient calls effectively.
* Assist in tracking patient interactions by using your expert listening skills to quickly get to the heart of a patient's question and document all interactions in real-time.
* Ensure patients are equipped with the best advice by identifying and empathetically addressing patient concerns and escalating appropriately when necessary.
**What You Should Have:**
* High School Diploma or GED required
* College degree or Junior College degree with a healthcare focus preferred
* 1 year of relevant customer care experience
* Intermediate to Advanced PC knowledge
* Ability to navigate multiple screens and systems
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* Flexibility to work specified shifts and extended hours as necessary
