What We Offer Competitive wage for this type of position - wage depends on experience Direct deposit & debit card payment options Health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance Get weekends off Overtime available Training provided Temp-to-hire opportunity Electrical System Tech Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do) Design, evaluate, assemble and/or maintain electrical systems for new and used equipment Interact with and commission full plant automation systems Remote customer troubleshooting, wiring manufactured equipment, building control enclosures, and working with electronic load cells/scales Build panels complying with UL, CE, and CSA standards Travel to customer sites for service, training and assessment Uses or creates wiring diagrams and schematic diagrams Understanding interlocking of electrical components Applies switching and control circuitry practices Works with single and 3-phase voltages and with DC power Electrical Systems Tech Shift Info Day Shift, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday - Friday Electrical Systems Tech Qualifications (Requirements / Skills) Knowledge of and proficiency in using computers and software Learn and understand calibration and formulation Troubleshoot electrical systems over the phone and on location Knowledge of ERP software is preferred 2-year degree in Electrical Controls emphasis is preferred About Ascend Staffing Ascend Staffing has been connecting great people with real opportunities for over 50 years.
