Job title: Electrical Engineer FULLY REMOTE in Kansas City, MO at GPAC Company: GPAC Job description : Location: Fully Remote - anywhere in US Direct Hire We are seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems design and implementation, with the ability to manage projects from concept to completion. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems for various project types. Create detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and layouts using CAD software. Perform electrical load calculations and system analysis to ensure compliance with codes and standards. Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to determine project requirements and specifications. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing electrical systems and provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure they meet design specifications and safety standards. Prepare and review technical reports, documentation, and project proposals. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure designs are innovative and compliant. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering design and project management. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design software. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant codes and standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
