Homebound is on a mission to make it possible for anyone, anywhere, to build a home using technology. The Design Coordinator will support the Design + Operations team in creating cohesive design packages and managing administrative needs, while collaborating with various teams to enhance the residential construction experience. Responsibilities - Support the Design + Operations team with all administrative needs including sample orders, displays, and inventory maintenance - Work with the Design Studio team and vendors to create sample displays and order samples for clients. Assist with maintaining well-organized and updated displays physically and digitally - Assist with data entry, document management, meeting coordination and identify opportunities for process improvement - Maintain organized and current project files and assist in managing the Homebound Product Catalog with the ability to source materials as requested - Support designers with adding products to the digital material catalog and completing data entry related to design packages, personalization, and finish schedules - Assist with redlining interior drawings, including cabinet shop drawings, interior elevations, and flooring diagrams. Experience with Bluebeam is preferred - Create mood boards and inspirational imagery aligned with design package direction. Photoshop or InDesign experience is preferred - Assist with rendering reviews, redlines, and feedback to ensure design intent and accuracy are clearly captured - Travel may be required to support the setup and maintenance of Design Studios across markets - Meet metrics tied to Design Studio key results, and partner with the Director of Design + Operations to establish and uphold performance standards, goals, and deadlines Skills - 1–2 years of experience in a design assistant, or related support role - Exceptional organizational skills: you keep track of the details so nothing falls through the cracks - A proactive, self-starting attitude with strong follow-through and the ability to take ownership of your work - Strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment without losing your attention to detail - Collaborative spirit and experience working across cross-functional teams with a commitment to delivering a high-quality client experience - Comfort with ambiguity and a growth mindset: you thrive in dynamic environments and adapt quickly as priorities evolve - A positive, team-first approach that contributes to a productive and supportive work culture - Experience with Bluebeam is preferred - Photoshop or InDesign experience is preferred - Interest or background in interior design, architecture, or residential construction is preferred Company Overview - New Updates Coming soon...............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
