Tattoo Projects is seeking a social media Content Creator with the talent to turn trends into brand-building content. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes social media, can spot the next big thing, and can turn ideas into eye-catching content.
As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for researching and turning content ideas into post-worthy content (video, static, and post copy), playing a key role in growing our client’s social presence by showcasing their brands in fresh, fun, and engaging ways.
ROLE:
Reports to VP of Social Media
• Content Creation: Be hands-on to develop and post a variety of "made for social" content (with a strong focus on video) across platforms - Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube.
• Trendspotting: Stay ahead of the curve by identifying and jumping on trends that align with our client’s brands and speak to their audiences.
• Channel Management: Maintain content calendar, uphold brand voice, and boost community engagement across social platforms.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with social and creative teams to align content with broader goals, incorporate feedback, and develop a consistent social video pipeline.
• Analyze: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to demonstrate content effectiveness. Present to leadership on key social analytics takeaways.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of relevant experience in social media content creation, ideally at an agency or in-house team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Apple products
• Filming and Editing: Skilled with filming and editing video using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, etc., you know how to turn raw footage into polished content, quickly.
• Proficiency in operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting setups, and sound equipment.
• Social Media and Tech Savvy: You're fluent in everything social. Maintaining a thorough knowledge of trends and developments, best practices per platform, and technology updates (video editing and audio)
• Self-Starter: Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced agency environment and demonstrate drive and initiative
• Team Player: Highly collaborative; ability to work closely with agency team across multiple projects and client voices
• Appreciate that social isn’t a 9-5 job. Willingness to flex schedule when a trend breaks or content needs to go live outside of traditional hours.
