The ideal candidate will manage projects ranging from feasibility studies to construction oversight while providing personal, inclusive, and timely service to foster long-standing client relationships. Key Responsibilities Design and develop land development, stormwater management, and infrastructure projects Prepare client contracts, construction documents, and cost estimates Coordinate with survey crews and manage project timelines Submit and secure permits from regulatory agencies (IEPA, MWRD, IDOT, IDNR, FEMA, ACOE) Perform field observation and construction coordination Serve as primary client contact and manage stakeholder relationships Prepare technical reports including stormwater management, storm sewer calculations, and detention basin design Key Skills Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling Experience with Microstation and Geopak/Open Roads Strong technical writing and verbal communication abilities Multi-project management and critical thinking capabilities Demonstrated ability in land development, grading, sanitary/water systems, and roadway design Experience preparing permit applications for regulatory agencies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Illinois Professional Engineer (PE) license Prior experience working on Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD) Projects (Required) 3-5 years of professional civil engineering experience AutoCAD Civil 3D, TR20, and EPASWMM knowledge (beneficial) Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) designation (preferred) Expected salary : Location : Northbrook, IL Job date : Sat, 19 Apr 2025 22:52:45 GMT Apply for the job now!
