A national Montessori childcare franchise organization seeks a full time Support Specialist to assist our network of schools in operating a school and training teachers. This is a full time position with hours being 9amEST-5pmEST Monday-Friday. Up to 4 Saturday's per year may be necessary for training days or open house support. Some travel will be required, all travel costs covered by MKU. Must be comfortable flying and/or driving up to 4.5 hours.
Individuals applying for this position must possess the following skills/ experience:
Child Care Head of School / Director experience with a for profit school only. (minimum 2 years)
Early Childhood or Elementary Degree
Montessori Certification- a plus/ not required.
English as primary language; Spanish a plus
Excellent verbal / written skills
Excellent time management skills
Problem solver
Out of box thinker
Strong technology skills/ experience with ProCare/ Montessori Compass a plus
Team Player
Ability to travel if needed with 14-day notice
Familiar with NAEYC requirements/ process for accreditation- a plus
Experience as Head of School with for-profit Montessori school- a plus
